Putting up my greenhouse today

Putting up my greenhouse today

I am constantly reminded of Murphy's law every time I start a project. For those of you who don't know what that is:
Murphy's law is an adage or epigram that is typically stated as: "Anything that can go wrong will go wrong".
I don't know if that is just me or this happens to everyone but it has been quite a ride already with projects this summer. I was planning on doing a big garden this year but we got into our house about a month later than expected, we thought at the latest it would be the end of may but we didn't move in until the end of June. By the time we got all of our furniture bought/delivered and got settled in it was another few weeks. We figured since the season is so long here we could still get a few plants into the ground, better late than never right?
Our back yard was pretty over grown and shaded so I started cutting down branches and trees to get some light in the back yard and that's when the first problem arose. A tree fell on my arm, it didn't break it but it swelled up the size of a softball and I couldn't move it very well so that held me up another 10 days or so before I had full movement in my arm again.
As soon as my arm was healed the next issue came along, rain! I'm not talking about a day or two, or a sprinkle here and there, I am talking about 3 weeks of rain every single day. Flooding everywhere. Our culverts are filled and our back yard was literally a giant puddle. This is the most rain this state has seen in many years and of course that happens the year we move here lol.
Anyhow, we decided to get a greenhouse to shield the plants from all the rain but haven't been able to put it up because there hasn't been a day nice enough to do so. Well today is finally that day. The sun is shining and the ground is drying up a little. Its basically now or never because it's still suppose to rain for the next two weeks!

UPDATE: Got half way done with our greenhouse and a storm came in.. Thanks weather people, your "15% chance for rain" should have been 100% chance.. now everything is soaking wet and we have to finish it in the mud whenever if this damn rain stops.
Well, wish me luck! LoL
